Rainbow Haven Kindergarten

Early learning & childcare in Glenhaven

A little more nature. A lot more room to grow.

Rainbow Haven is a privately owned centre on a 5 acre property in Glenhaven, surrounded by bushland. The easiest way to know whether it suits your family is to walk through it with us, meet the educators and see how the day runs.

The setting

Bushland on the doorstep, and play spaces built for it

The centre sits in a semi rural pocket of Glenhaven on a 5 acre property surrounded by bushland. Children play in the fenced outdoor areas and rooms designed for their age group, with plenty of shade, grass and timber to climb.

Starting care

Your child does not have to start on their own

Before their first day, you are welcome to come in for an orientation and stay with your child while they get used to the room, the educators and the routine. It is also when educators hear from you about your child and what they need.

There is no charge for orientation. Our team includes degree qualified early childhood teachers and an educational leader who guides the program, and many of them have had their own children attend the centre.

Families receive updates about the day through KindyHub, and through conversations at drop off and pick up.

Room by room

A room for each stage of childhood

Children move through five rooms as they grow, from babies to the year before school. The program is play based and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.

Questions families ask us

What ages do you care for?

Children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Our rooms are Ducklings, Bumble Bees, Caterpillars, Snuggle Bears and Honey Bears.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. We close on all NSW public holidays and for 3 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

Can my child visit before starting?

Yes. We encourage an orientation visit where you stay with your child so they can become familiar with the environment, and educators can talk with you about your child and their needs. There is no charge for orientation.

Can we enrol for one day a week?

We recommend a minimum of two days a week, though you can choose one day if you prefer.

How do enrolments work?

The first step is a visit. After the tour we send an enrolment package by email with all the details of the process.

How do we hear about our child's day?

Through KindyHub: photos, daily program information and messages, along with conversations with your child's educators.

What is the Child Care Subsidy position?

Rainbow Haven is approved for the purpose of Child Care Subsidy. The amount you receive depends on your circumstances, so please check current rates with Services Australia.
